    Christopher Durang, author of such plays as Sister Mary Ignatius explains It All for You (Obie Award for Best Play) and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Tony Award for Best Play), turned his hilarious, neurotic gaze towards the excesses of the mental health world in 1981’s Beyond Therapy. What happens when two Manhattanites, inspired by their respective looney psychiatrists, place personal ads in the paper in hope of finding true love? Only “the explosive comic brilliance of Christopher Durang” (NY Times) could possibly answer that question.
