Speak the Speech Workshop – Spring 2025
In this 8 week workshop we will focus on the clues Shakespeare puts in his text for actors. Using in depth scene work, young actors will be on their feet, discovering ways to express themselves with voice and body.
We will also explore how the tools we use to unlock Shakespeare can be used in any aspect of performance and public speaking.
At the end of the session, students will show their work by presenting a performance for parents and friends.
Additionally, a professional film will be made of the students’ work as a reel for colleges, casting directors, and their own personal use.
