Speak the Speech Workshop – Spring 2024
In this workshop we will focus on the clues Shakespeare puts in his text for actors. Using in depth scene work, young actors will be on their feet, discovering ways to express themselves with voice and body.
We will also explore how the tools we use to unlock Shakespeare can be used in any aspect of performance and public speaking.
At the end of the session, students will show their work by presenting a performance for parents and friends.
Who is this for?
- All kids 12 & Up!
What are the requirements?
- No previous experience with Shakespeare or acting is necessary.

- Tuesdays, April 23 ~ June, 11, 2024 @ 6:30-8:30 PM
- The Parish Hall Building of Katonah United Methodist Church
- 44 Edgemont Road, Katonah, NY
*Note there will be 2 weekend sessions towards the end of the workshop to rehearse for the final performance. Time and Place TBD).
